Overview

We are looking for an Account Director to join our team in Düsseldorf. You will work at the forefront of Recruitment Marketing, building partnerships and collaborating with Marketing, Product Management and Customer Success to advance our unique platform strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an international, strategic sales development plan.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with international recruiting professionals.
  • Use story‑telling and practical case examples to engage prospective and current customers.
  • Manage strategic accounts and conduct cross‑ and upselling for existing customers.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets and campaign objectives in close collaboration with marketing specialists.
  • Travel occasionally to meet partners and attend events, trade shows, workshops, or on‑site customer visits.
Qualifications
  • Completed university degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in relationship management or sales, ideally in the recruiting industry or a tech‑driven environment.
  • Strong brand‑building capabilities – able to expand VONQ’s international presence strategically and operatively.
  • Excellent networking skills to grow reach quickly and sustainably, both internally and externally.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Customer‑orientated selling mindset – listening, advising and guiding clients.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: initiative, hands‑on mentality, responsibility and flexibility.
