Amazon Operations is seeking a maintenance leader to oversee the technical area of a fulfillment center on a shift basis in Germany. You will lead maintenance teams, coordinate preventive maintenance, and safeguard high availability of conveyor, automation, and building systems while driving safety and cost discipline.

You will design training plans, manage budgets, and push continuous improvement through OEE concepts and project leadership within a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, industrial electrical, controls, and robotics.
• Experience with MHE integrators and material handling equipment.

In this position, you are responsible on a shift basis for the entire technical area of a fulfillment center. You lead maintenance teams and, together with them, ensure smooth operations and improved availability of conveyor and building systems. You coordinate and optimize production processes and contribute to a safe working environment. You are also responsible for ensuring that all inspections and maintenance activities are carried out on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Shift responsibility for the maintenance team as well as all automated sorting and conveyor systems, industrial trucks, and building systems.
• Design of training and development plans for your team members.
• Ensuring the highest possible availability of all systems and implementing modern maintenance approaches such as Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).
• Implementation of all necessary safety standards and a proactive safety culture within the team.
• Promoting the continuous development of all team members in hard and soft skills to support the growth of Amazon Operations.
• Developing concepts for the continuous optimization of all systems in accordance with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Leading and supporting technical greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Planning and adherence to the maintenance budget for the site.
• Evaluation of relevant KPIs for the analysis of technical systems and internal processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in project management
• Experience with statistical analysis
