dots Software in Berlin is seeking a 2nd/3rd Level Software Support Specialist (f/m/d) for parental leave cover. Part-time or full-time (38.5h) in the Support Team, working on AccurioPro Flux. You will handle technical pre-sales and after-sales requests in Jira or by phone, analyze issues, reproduce in a test environment, and document solutions.

What you'll be doing

We are searching for a2nd / 3rd Level Software Support Specialist (f/m/d) part time or full time (38,5h) to join our Support Team in Berlin.
This position is a parental leave cover and therefore limited to one year.

You will be working for our flagship print workflow suite, AccurioPro Flux, in close cooperation with creative and dedicated individuals from around the world.

• You will be responsible for handling technical pre-sales and after-sales software support requests in our ticketing system (Jira) or over the phone
• You analyze the upcoming software problems and find - if necessary in cooperation with our development department - an efficient and effective solution to these problems
• Depending on the need, you will reproduce the customer requirements in a suitable test environment
• You document the solutions carefully in our ticketing system

What it takes

• You have a strong background in IT, Support or Printing
• You have great communicational skills and a self-driven and structured method of working
• A strong customer and service orientation is natural to you
• Knowledge of printing, page description languages PDF & PostScript, digital pre-press and color management is an advantage but not a must
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Batch, PowerShell) and XML, JSON as well as databases (e.g. MongoDB, SQLite) is also beneficial
• Fluency in English is essential; German is a big plus
• And last but not least you enjoy getting to the bottom of a matter and solving tricky tasks!
