Responsibilities

• You construct patterns for all elements of shoes and review as well as design footbed models, shape data, uppers modelling.
• You grade all elements and prepare them for bulk production in cooperation with technical team.
• Beyond that, you create technical drawings, set up a system-based data storage and the relevant documentation.
• Utilizing your excellent communication skills, you collaborate with the internal footwear engineers, 3D constructors, coordinate, and specify procedures / workflows with our plants and external service providers.
• Last but by no means least, you reconstruct models and edit corresponding data sets, while continuously analyzing existing data sets for errors and potential for optimization.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a design engineer or technical product designer.
• Professional experience in development and/or construction in the footwear industry.
• Extensive knowledge of 2D CAD systems (MindCAD / ClassiCAD).
• Fit in MS Office; 3D construction and SAP skills are beneficial.
• Process-oriented understanding as well as a careful and accurate working method.
• Constructive team player with self-initiative and a structured way of thinking.
• Strong communication skills and good command of English.
• Willingness to travel frequently is expected.
