Job summary

IBM Consulting in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking an analytical Accounts Payable professional to manage inquiries received via email and tickets. You will investigate cases in SAP, review documentation, and ensure timely, accurate responses while maintaining auditing standards in a high-volume environment.

The role involves coordinating with Invoice Processing and Payment teams to resolve complex issues, and identifying process improvements to reduce rework and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Manage a high-volume workload of 70 to 100 emails per day, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of inquiries.
• Investigate requests through SAP research, supporting documentation review, and detailed analysis of available information.
• Identify and resolve issues related to blocked invoices, payment delays, balance discrepancies, and other Accounts Payable exceptions.
• Provide clear, accurate, and solution-oriented responses that effectively address the root cause of each inquiry.
• Partner with Invoice Processing and Payment teams to drive resolution of complex cases requiring cross-functional support.
• Maintain accurate records of actions taken, ensuring tickets are properly documented and monitored through closure.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements that reduce response times, increase efficiency, and minimize rework.
