Amakuna is a dynamic, fast-growing travel company that designs tailor-made holidays across Colombia for international clients. We are hiring for a full-time Travel Coordinator to manage supplier bookings, design itineraries, and handle back-office payments.

The role is hybrid in Medellín: on-site Monday to Thursday and remote on Fridays. Fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication, reliability, and travel-industry experience (preferred) are essential to delivering memorable Colombian

Responsabilidades

• Liaising with suppliers and partners to make bookings and reservations for clients' itineraries (hotels, flights, guides, ground transportation).
• Assisting in itinerary design to optimize holidays in Colombia.
• Developing and strengthening relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Running back-office systems including payments.

We are passionate about showing our clients the very best of Colombia and we are hiring for a full-time position to fulfill the role of Travel Coordinator. The successful applicant's responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with our suppliers and partners to make the bookings and reservations for our clients' itineraries. This will include hotel reservations, flight bookings and organizing guides, and private ground transportation.
• Assisting in the itinerary design process to optimize our clients' holidays within Colombia and provide them with the best possible experience.
• Developing and strengthening relationships with new and existing suppliers, such as new hotels, specialist guides, and local experts.
• Running back-office systems including payments.

The position is very hands-on and the successful candidate will be:

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Self-disciplined, hard-working, and able to work without supervision.
• An excellent communicator.
• Extremely responsible and trustworthy.
• Passionate about travel and showing the best of Colombia to the outside world.
• Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of our client's needs.
• Experienced in working within the travel industry in Colombia (preferred).

The compensation for this position is made up of a fixed salary and variable commission. The total monthly compensation will range from approximately COP 4.700.000 to COP 6.000.000 depending on experience and business performance.

Hybrid: Mondays - Thursdays On-Site and Fridays From Home.
