Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions is seeking a Transport Support Worker to provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. This role emphasizes promoting well-being and coordinating with Permanency Services.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years in child and family services, with evening availability and Sunday work. A compassionate, learner mindset and strong communication are essential.

A Day in the Life as a Transport Support Worker

As a Transport Support Worker, you will provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. You’ll play a critical role in promoting the well‑being of children, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinate with other agencies providing Permanency Services.

We’re looking for a compassionate, eager-to-learn individual who is passionate about helping families in times of crisis. You'll work to build healthy, long-lasting relationships by connecting families to resources that improve their lives. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must, as well as flexibility, punctuality, and a commitment to advocacy for children and their families. Evening availability is required for at least one day a week.
