Essity in Bogotá seeks a Trade Marketing Manager to lead the Trade Marketing strategy for the Retail and Pharmacy channel across Colombia. You will connect brand strategy with in-store execution, drive shopper impact, and grow market share through visibility, activations, and JBPs with key accounts.

You will manage budgets, analyze sell-in/sell-out, collaborate with Marketing and Sales, and travel for country-wide customer visits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Sales, or related commercial roles.
• Experience within multinational consumer goods companies is highly preferred.
• Exposure to personal care, healthcare, OTC, or fast-moving consumer goods categories is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the Trade Marketing strategy for the Retail/Pharmacy channel.
• Translate brand strategies into customer-specific, regional plans that drive business results.
• Lead the implementation of visibility initiatives, activations, promotions, product launches, and in-store excellence programs.
• Participate in Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key customers to strengthen brand performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharmacy chains, distributors, and strategic customers.
• Analyze sell-in, sell-out, market share, distribution, visibility, and promotional effectiveness to identify opportunities and drive actions.
• Manage the Trade Marketing budget, ensuring ROI and agile investments in a competitive environment.
• Ensure flawless execution at POS through third-party agencies and field teams, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment and speed of execution.
• Conduct regular customer and market visits nationwide to monitor performance and opportunities.

Trade Marketing Manager

About the Role

At Essity, we are looking for a strategic, commercially minded, and execution-focused professional to lead the Trade Marketing strategy for our Retail Channel, with a strong focus on pharmacies and key accounts. This role will be responsible for connecting brand strategy with in-store execution, ensuring our brands deliver meaningful shopper impact, strengthen their market position, and drive profitable growth across the Colombian market.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute the Trade Marketing strategy for the Retail/Pharmacy channel, aligned with brand, category, and business objectives.
• Translate brand strategies into customer-specific, regional, and channel-based execution plans that drive business results.
• Lead the implementation of visibility initiatives, activations, promotions, product launches, and in-store excellence programs to maximize shopper engagement.
• Participate in the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key customers, identifying opportunities to strengthen brand performance and accelerate growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy chains, distributors, and strategic customers, acting as a trusted business partner.
• Analyze key performance indicators such as sell-in, sell-out, market share, distribution, visibility, and promotional effectiveness to identify opportunities and drive action plans.
• Manage the Trade Marketing budget, ensuring efficient investments, strong ROI, and agility in a competitive environment.
• Ensure flawless execution at point of sale through third-party agencies and field teams, maintaining brand guidelines and execution standards.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment, speed, and excellence in execution.
• Conduct regular customer and market visits across the country to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and strengthen business relationships.

Who You Are

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Sales, or related commercial roles.
• Experience within multinational consumer goods companies is highly preferred.
• Previous exposure to personal care, healthcare, OTC, or fast-moving consumer goods categories is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong expertise in Trade Marketing strategy development and channel management.
• Experience managing sell-in and sell-out information.
• Proven ability to develop promotional, visibility, and customer activation plans.
• Budget management and ROI evaluation capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.

Language

• English proficiency at B2 level or above (Mandatory)
