Job summary

World Business Lenders, LLC is seeking a seasoned Title Clearance Lead to guide the team responsible for reviewing title commitments, clearing liens, and ensuring accurate property descriptions. This role demands strong leadership and a proactive approach to resolve title issues that could impact funding or closings.

The position offers a fully remote work arrangement with a 9:00am–6:00pm ET schedule, occasional extra hours, and opportunities for professional growth within a fast-paced lending

Qualifications

• 10 years in title with substantial management experience.
• Experience reviewing title commitments, liens, and legal descriptions.
• Experience identifying and resolving title issues affecting loan approval, closing or funding.
• Experience reviewing corporate documents to verify entity authority and property ownership.

World Business Lenders - World Business Lenders (WBL) is proud to offer short-term, real estate-backed commercial loans to a diverse range of small and medium-sized businesses across the United States, especially those who may find it challenging to secure traditional financing.

Typically, the work schedule is from 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, though there might be times when additional hours are needed to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the title clearance team by providing direction, feedback, and support for efficient operations.
• Manage workload by prioritizing tasks, delegating, and balancing resources to meet deadlines and goals.
• Promote team development through training and professional growth opportunities.
• Monitor SLAs to ensure compliance, timely delivery, and quality standards.
• Act as primary escalation contact to resolve issues promptly and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, best practices, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant proficiency.

Required Experience

• 10 years in title, with substantial management experience, rather than 10 years exclusively in leadership.

Preferred Background / Industry Experience

• At least 10 years of overall title experience, including substantial team leadership or management experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience reviewing title commitments, clearing liens, interpreting legal descriptions, and determining lien priority.
• Experience identifying and resolving title issues that may affect loan approval, closing, or funding.
• Experience reviewing corporate documents to verify entity authority and property ownership or vesting.
