Job summary

Celebal Technologies is seeking an IT Talent Acquisition Specialist / Technical Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for Data Engineering, Data Analytics, AI/ML, and related roles in Colombia and beyond. The role emphasizes sourcing Databricks skills, screening, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.

The candidate will build a robust pipeline, coordinate with stakeholders, and negotiate contracts while ensuring a positive candidate experience in a hybrid Bogotá setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT recruitment, technical talent acquisition, or IT staffing.
• Experience hiring for Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, and Data & AI consulting roles.
• Good understanding of the Databricks ecosystem and related technologies.
• Strong proficiency in LinkedIn sourcing, Boolean search strings, and candidate screening.
• Ability to interpret technical job descriptions and identify relevant skills in candidate profiles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
• Willingness to work from the Bogotá office or follow a hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and offer closure.
• Recruit professionals for Data Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML Engineering, Data Architecture, and Databricks-related roles.
• Understand technical job descriptions and identify candidates whose skills align with client requirements.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, professional networks, and Boolean search techniques.
• Identify candidates with experience in the Databricks ecosystem, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Medallion Architecture, and Delta Live Tables (DLT).
• Conduct initial screening calls to assess technical experience, communication skills, availability, location, work authorization, and compensation expectations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and upcoming Data & AI requirements.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clients, collect feedback, and manage candidate follow-ups.
• Negotiate compensation and contract rates within approved budgets.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment trackers, and ATS/CRM updates.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet recruitment targets and hiring timelines.
• Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
