Quorum Software in Bogote1 is seeking a Support Consultant Energy Components to join our global energy technology team. This role focuses on Level 2 application support, incident management, and customer consultation to ensure reliable software operations.

You will diagnose code issues, troubleshoot bugs, and coordinate with customers and internal teams. The position offers hybrid work and requires English fluency, a Bachelor's or higher in IT/CS or related field, and 1-3 years of relevant

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS or related field.
• 1–3 years in delivering application support or solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Oracle PL/SQL in Linux/Windows.
• Experience writing monitoring and automation scripts using Perl or Shell.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (Salesforce, JIRA) for service engagements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide EC Level 2 Application Software Support and manage Incident, Service Request and Change requests.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, solve code errors, and fix bugs within SLAs.
• Assess and prioritize customer-reported issues and determine resolution path.
• Integrate technical knowledge with business understanding to consult customers.
• Document incidents and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain strong adherence to Service Level Objectives.
• Work flexible in shift or on-call duty to provide 24/7 support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Involved in providing EC Level 2 Application Software Support and responsible for Incident, Service Request, Change and Problem management
• Responsible to diagnose, troubleshoot, solve code errors, and fix bug issues within the software applications with SLAs
• Understand and assess customer’s reported issues to determine prioritization
• Responsible to integrate the technical knowledge and business understanding to consult and provide solutions to customers.
• Manage and ensure documentation of assigned incidents, including internal and external communications
• Maintain strong adherence to Service Level Objectives.
• Working flexibly in shift or on-call duty to be able to provide continuous support to customers 24/7
• And other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
• At least 1-3 years of working experience in delivering application support or solution implementation is required for this position
• Good technical skills in software technologies such as Java, Oracle PL/SQL within Linux and Windows environment
• Good experience in writing monitoring and automation scripts using Perl or Shell
• Good technical experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, solving code errors, and fixing bug issues within the software applications with SLOs
• Experienced in using IT Service Management Tools (Salesforce, JIRA etc.) to manage Customer Service Management engagements.
• Good analytical, problem-solving skills to resolve issues as well as providing short-term and long-term solutions
• Candidates with experience in Oil and Gas industry and/or hydrocarbon accounting are encouraged to apply
• Proficient in communicating to stakeholders in English.
• A team player and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  
  

Additional Details

• Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and Passport/ID validation.
• Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
• Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate will be required to present their professional card or registration information if the role is deemed to be regulated.
