Atoms is seeking a Structural Engineer to support adaptive reuse and renovation projects. You will assess existing buildings, develop structural strategies, and coordinate with Architecture, Mechanical, Civil, and Geotechnical teams to deliver safe and economical solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5–8 years of structural engineering experience in commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
• Experience with adaptive reuse, renovations, retrofits, and tenant improvements.
• Strong knowledge of load paths, gravity and lateral systems, foundations, seismic and wind design.
• Experience producing structural calculations, reports, and construction documents.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage consultants.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural due diligence and assess existing buildings.
• Develop strategies for integrating new facility requirements into existing buildings.
• Coordinate with architecture, mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams.
• Review designs, provide technical guidance to consultants and EORs.
• Support permitting with AHJs and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in value engineering to reduce costs and schedule impacts.
• Contribute to standards, prototype details, and scalable engineering solutions.
