Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineering license or equivalent (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering in energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
• Fluent English required to collaborate with international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and foundations in energy and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review structural calculations, technical specifications, and design deliverables.

Description

Pond is seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in the execution and development of energy and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and design for industrial and linear infrastructure facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and engineering best practices. This role will involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, efficient, and constructible structural solutions.

To be successful in this position, the candidate must demonstrate solid technical expertise in structural systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems in energy and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review structural calculations, technical specifications, and design deliverables in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, 3D models, and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with company design standards as well as local and international structural codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and support constructability and field-related engineering efforts.
• Contribute to a collaborative work environment while meeting project schedules and quality expectations.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineering License or equivalent professional registration (preferred).
• More than 5 years of experience in structural engineering roles within the energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
• Fluent proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to collaborate with international teams and clients.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design for steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations and connections.
• Proficiency with industry-standard structural analysis and design software, including RISA-3D, RISAFoundation, RISAConnection, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
