DiDi Global Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Strategy Manager for the KA Team to define both short- and long-term direction by analyzing market trends, spotting growth opportunities, and mitigating risks.

You will bridge executive leadership and field teams, lead high-priority cross-functional projects, and provide evidence-based recommendations to drive competitive advantage across countries. This role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field; MBA or master’s degree highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in strategy consulting or in-house strategy teams leading complex cross-functional projects.
• Ability to structure complex problems and use data-driven insights (financial/quantitative modeling) to develop actionable strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex analysis into concise, persuasive narratives for senior leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership with ability to navigate matrixed organizations.

You’ll be joining the Strategy – Key Accounts (KA) Team at DiDi Food Mexico City (CDMX) — a mission-driven group focused on transforming how we leverage data to drive smart, scalable decisions across core business functions. Our team partners with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Operations, BI, and Tech) to unlock insights that accelerate growth and operational excellence. In this role you will be the primary data engineering contributor, ensuring our systems are reliable, connected, and ready to power strategic and analytical needs.

As the Strategy Manager in the team you will define both the short and long term direction of the KA Team by analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks. You will be the bridge between executive leadership and the operational teams. The Strategy Manager is the right hand of the Sr. Commercial Directors of the differnet countries where we operate. This role will be leading high-priority, cross-functional projects, managing strategic planning processes, and providing evidence-based recommendations to drive competitive advantage.

• Strategic Planning:Leading strategic reviews of business segments, products, and key initiatives.
• Analysis & Research:Conducting rigorous market research, competitor analysis, and financial modeling.
• Cross-Functional Leadership:Driving implementation of strategic projects by coordinating across various departments.
• Leadership & Mentorship:Overseeing junior strategy staff, cultivating a collaborative environment, and acting as a strategic advisor to leadership.

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA or master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in strategy consulting or in-house strategy teams, with demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strategic Thinking & Analysis:Ability to structure complex problems, identify market opportunities, and use data-driven insights (financial/quantitative modeling) to develop actionable strategies.
• Communication & Influence:Exceptional communication skills to translate complex analysis into concise, persuasive, and clear narratives for senior executive leadership.
• Stakeholder Management:Capability to build relationships, negotiate, and influence, with the ability to navigate matrixed organizations and manage conflicting priorities.
• Leadership & Execution:Strong project management, leadership, and, in some cases, experience driving organizational transformation.
