Job summary

WSP is seeking a Financial Project Manager (Financial PMO) to lead the financial management of strategic projects across its global portfolio. The role focuses on budgets, forecasts, controls, cash flow, and reporting to support decisions and performance.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Financial Analysts, and leaders to ensure financial objectives are achieved, while driving improvements and ensuring compliance with policies and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project financial management or PMO environments.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial control for complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, cash flow, and profitability analysis.
• Mandatory French-English bilingualism (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning, management, and control of projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate development and monitoring of project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Oversee project revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet financial and contractual objectives.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Run monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities per project.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level financial reports.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate project performance.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies and communicate to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to Project Controllers and Financial Analysts.
