Recurly, Inc. is seeking a Staff Full-Stack Engineer to shape the technical direction of our marketing and customer engagement platform. You’ll drive architecture and development across Ruby on Rails backend and Vue.js frontend, delivering data-driven features and real-time personalization.

This senior role in Medellín offers cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and Customer Success, mentorship of engineers, and opportunities to apply AI-assisted development across the stack.

Formación

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack scope.
• Deep Ruby on Rails expertise: ActiveRecord, background jobs, API design.
• Strong Vue.js proficiency and SPA architecture knowledge.
• Proven track record in end-to-end technical initiatives.
• Expert-level RESTful API design and integrations.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Set the technical direction for key platform initiatives.
• Design and build robust, secure, and scalable Rails/Vue.js systems.
• Coach and grow engineers through reviews, pairing, and feedback.
• Own architecture decisions and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Success.
• Raise code quality, testing, security, and observability standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery and product value.
• Lead agile delivery and shipping in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive incident resolution and post-incident reviews.
