Penumbra in Colombia is seeking a Training Supervisor to lead and grow the Training function, ensuring employees have the knowledge, skills and competencies for safe, effective and compliant operations.

You will supervise Training Specialist and Training Specialist II, and drive development, implementation, administration and continuous improvement of training systems and programs supporting Production and Quality.

Formación

• Leadership experience supervising teams in L&D or manufacturing.
• Strong ability to develop and interpret training metrics and KPIs.
• High English proficiency (B2+ / C1).

Responsabilidades

• Directly supervise Training Specialist and Training Specialist II positions.
• Develop, implement, administer, and continuously improve training systems, programs and initiatives supporting Production and Quality.

General Summary

The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing the Training function to ensure employees possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to support safe, effective, compliant, and efficient operations. This role directly supervises the Training Specialist and Training Specialist II positions and is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of training systems, programs, and initiatives supporting Production and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Training, Manufacturing, Quality, Continuous Improvement, or related functions within a regulated medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of leadership, supervisory, project leadership, team development, or functional training leadership experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop, interpret, and communicate training metrics and KPIs.
• High English proficiency (B2+ / C1)
