ScotiaTech in Bogota, Colombia, is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to join the Global Banking and Markets Engineering team. You will liaison between business stakeholders and engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions while ensuring alignment with risk and regulatory requirements.

The role requires extensive experience across the full software lifecycle, capital markets knowledge, and strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide.

Formación

• 6+ years in software development lifecycle with leading discussions.
• 6+ years with databases and ability to run queries independently.
• Thorough understanding of the full Trade Life Cycle.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulations in capital markets.
• Experience across front, middle or back-office projects.
• B2 English proficiency and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Liaison between stakeholders, engineering and architecture teams to deliver on time and with quality.
• Define scope, requirements, and align with product functionality.
• Develop and present design documents, use cases and models.
• Work with GBME teams through the system development life cycle.
• Build relationships across global teams and communicate effectively.
• Ensure solutions meet risk, controls, and compliance standards.
