ScotiaTech, a ScotiaGBS unit of Scotiabank, Bogota, Colombia, seeks a Senior Manager, Software Engineer to lead the Global HR Technologies Applications and Development team. Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 6–10 years of Development and Team Leadership work.
• 2+ years in delivery of large scale programs and global products.
• PEGA systems (BPN) knowledge would be an asset.
• Technical skills include expert Java and .NET; Power Apps and PowerBI valuable.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to work with senior business leaders.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Leads a development team of Java, .NET and PEGA developers and drives a customer-focused culture.
• Invests in team’s technical and management skills and growth as engineers and leaders.
• Organizes team structure and schedules to meet support requirements with minimal disruption.
• Acts as Application Owner for the applications suite; ensures delivery within budgets and standards.
• Owns, maintains, supports and enhances existing applications with code reviews and issue analysis.
• Collaborates with architects to design modern, resilient, cost-effective solutions.
• Serves as primary contact for Global HR regarding applications; works end-to-end with business partners.
• Reviews and evaluates initiatives; provides estimates of effort and business guidance.
• Partners with Project Managers to ensure delivery aligns with EDF and targets.
