Scotiabank Colombia in Bogotá seeks a software professional to deliver system analysis, design, programming, and documentation for existing and new applications.

You will collaborate with project teams to refine technical requirements, build designs, and guide development in line with enterprise architecture standards. This role emphasizes production support, risk-aware decisions, and a high-performance, inclusive environment.

Formación

• Hands-on work experience with REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Experience in Java batch and scheduled processing.
• Strong DB2/SQL knowledge, including query tuning.
• Proficiency with static code analysis tools like AquaScan, Checkmarx, Blackduck.
• Unix environment experience and shell scripting for automation.
• Good understanding of secure coding, code reviews, and SDLC processes.
• Experience optimizing code and infrastructure, with logging and monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Provide system analysis, design, programming, and documentation for applications.
• Work with project team to refine technical requirements and create designs.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and production deployment.
• Create estimates and plan development efforts for projects.
• Maintain, support, and enhance existing applications.
• Participate in regular code reviews and release activities.
• Lead production issue analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Advise on best practices aligned with the bank's technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to study current behavior and propose improvements.
• Ensure day-to-day activities consider risk appetite and conduct risk.
