AECOM is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer – Water, Hydraulics and Drainage to lead hydraulic modelling and design for wastewater, stormwater, and urban drainage projects in Bogotá. You will guide model development, CSO mitigation, and flood risk strategies, collaborating across regions to ensure high-quality, sustainable solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in hydraulic modelling and design with InfoWorks ICM.
• Experience leading distributed design teams and client-facing delivery.
• Intermediate to advanced English (B2-C1).
• Commitment to QA/QC and data governance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end hydraulic modelling for wastewater and stormwater networks.
• Develop CSO spill reduction programs and flood mitigation schemes.
• Deliver hydraulic design translating models into constructible solutions.
• Define modelling strategies and QA/QC plans.
• Coordinate with Lead Offices and multidisciplinary teams across regions.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews.
• Manage work packages, schedules, budgets; identify risks.
• Engage with clients to communicate methodologies and findings.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and digital assets.
• Support bid inputs and improve modelling tools.
