Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Hydraulics, Hydrology, Water Resources or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience; internships/co-ops acceptable.
• Fundamental knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics for collection, conveyance, storage, and discharge systems.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or ArcGIS for plans, profiles, surfaces, and spatial analysis.
• Working knowledge of HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D preferred), and SWMM.
• Advanced Excel skills for engineering calculations and QA.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork in multidisciplinary settings.
• Intermediate English proficiency (reading standards/reports).

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic analyses and hydraulic modeling for watersheds, channels, and drainage networks using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM/InfoWorks, SewerGEMS/StormGEMS.
• Develop designs for stormwater drainage and sanitary/wastewater systems.
• Prepare drawings and support BIM coordination using Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
• Produce calculations, reports, take-offs, and technical specifications.
• Integrate sustainability practices (LID/SuDS, BMPs, water quality controls) into designs.
• Ensure codes and design criteria are met; maintain auditable documentation.
• Support QA/QC, respond to RFIs, manage changes and document control.
• Collaborate with transport, structural, geotechnical, and environmental teams.
• Manage tasks to scope, schedule, and budget; communicate risks.
• Prepare concise presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
