Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in high-volume warehousing, strong WMS/SAP skills, Lean methods, and English proficiency for senior leadership communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, SCM, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in high-volume warehouse operations or distribution centers.
• Experience leading large operational teams and navigating union environments.
• Proficiency in WMS and ERP platforms (SAP WM/EWM/SD/MM).
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of inventory methodologies (cycle counts, Wall-to-Wall, obsolescence mitigation).
• Experience managing warehouse OpEx budgets and labor costs.
• English proficiency suitable for senior-leader presentations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily DC operations and shift handovers to ensure on-time customer dispatches and continuity.
• Lead and schedule warehouse teams, including weekend/holiday rosters, overtime, attendance, and vacations.
• Oversee inventory control processes, cycle counts, and annual inventories while managing SLOB and obsolescence risk.
• Track KPIs (tons/man-hour, cases/man-hour, pick/pack rates) and manage OpEx budgets.
• Design contingency protocols for capacity, seasonal peaks, and equipment bottlenecks.
• Promote a safety culture with daily safety talks and FP&R/audit compliance.
