Job summary

POWER/WSP is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for transmission line design projects in Bogotá. The role involves leading multi-discipline teams, managing schedules and budgets, and interfacing with clients to ensure successful delivery.

Candidates should have a PE license, a BS in a relevant engineering field, and at least 10 years in HV/EHV line design, with PL S-CADD proficiency and strong English communication. hybrid exposure may be considered.

Qualifications

• PE licensure required.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Experience with overhead HV and EHV line design.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
• At least 10 years in design of transmission lines with route and structure design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project support and status reporting.
• Manage engineers, drafters, and designers; interface with client.
• Create and maintain a project schedule and budget.
• Lead project meetings and forecast requirements for delivery.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and contribute to process improvements.
• Develop client relationships to position for future work.
• Support department planning and resource forecasting.
