Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Transmission & Distribution in Bogota, Colombia. You will provide senior technical leadership across HV transmission projects, from concept to construction, coordinating across drafting, structural, civil, electrical and geotechnical teams.

Minimum eight years in HV OHL design, Chartered/PE status preferred, and strong experience with PLS-CADD, line dynamics, and construction-ready drawings. English language required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical) with +8 years of HV overhead line design experience.
• Chartered or Professional Engineer status preferred.
• Experience delivering HV OHL projects including new builds, reconductoring, uprating and asset renewals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute HV transmission line projects from 132kV to 765kV.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with managers, clients and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Lead or contribute to HV line engineering and design packages; develop alignments using PLS-CADD.
