Job summary

Taleo is seeking a senior Track Team Lead to plan, design, and optimize track geometry and infrastructure for passenger and freight rail projects. You will lead the Bogota GCC Rail Track team and collaborate with Canadian counterparts to deliver integrated solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in railway track engineering, strong PM/leadership skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley OpenRail Designer. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in railway track engineering and complex rail transit projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of AREMA, CN, CPKC, TCRP and Transport Canada standards.
• Proven leadership, PM skills, and client-facing experience.
• Strong communication and proposal development abilities.
• Understanding of track construction methods and asset maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead track geometry and railway infrastructure designs to standards.
• Act as discipline lead for track design on rail/transit projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration.
• Conduct reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises.
• Engage with national and international stakeholders and clients.
