AECOM is seeking a BIM/CAD Modeler for our Bogotá office, specializing in linear infrastructure and site civils. This role involves preparing plans and models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for road and airport projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 years of 3D drafting experience, advanced skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and will collaborate with engineers throughout project phases. No relocation assistance is available.

Formación

• Technical or technological degree, or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Transportation, or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in 3‑D drafting and modeling for road and airport projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D (corridor, profile, cross‑section and surface modeling).

• Model road corridors, longitudinal profiles, cross‑sections, terrain surfaces and platforms using Civil 3D.
• Prepare design drawings packages in compliance with engineering standards, local regulations and internal quality protocols.
• Integrate topographic surveys into the models and update field information in design drawings.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation: design reports, quantity take‑offs and construction estimates.
• Participate in the implementation of CAD standards and best practices for BIM modeling.
• Ensure quality of deliverables through internal reviews and compliance with project schedule.
• Collaborate with engineers and specialists through all project phases.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Experience in earthworks design, road signage and storm‑water drainage.
• Previous experience on airport geometric design projects.
• Knowledge in preparing cost estimates and quantity take‑offs.
• Experience integrating topographic information and producing “as‑built” plans.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
