Monks is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own the delivery of complex software builds, coordinating between clients, engineering, product, and design. You’ll ensure milestones, risks, budgets, and schedules stay on track while enabling teams that use AI coding agents in their daily workflow.

You will guide agile ceremonies, manage blockers, and mentor delivery leads, partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-impact projects on time.

Formación

• 5+ years of software delivery management experience
• Strong experience with agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Proven risk, dependency, scope, budget and schedule management
• Excellent client communication and expectation-setting
• Strong organizational skills with attention to plans and follow-ups
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and bring clarity to complex situations
• Proactive in identifying and addressing delivery risks
• Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering workflows
• Experience working with technical teams and product/engineering alignment
• Experience mentoring delivery leads or project managers is a plus

About The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll own the successful delivery of complex software builds by managing plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and client communication. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between clients, engineering, product, and design—keeping delivery on track, honest, and unblocked while working alongside teams that use AI coding agents as part of their everyday workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery plans, milestones, timelines, and follow-ups
• Track risks and dependencies, surface issues early, and drive mitigation
• Lead status meetings, planning sessions, retrospectives, and other agile delivery rituals
• Identify and resolve blockers to keep teams moving
• Manage client communication, expectations, and alignment
• Coordinate delivery across engineering, product, design, and client stakeholders
• Monitor delivery against scope, budget, and schedule
• Communicate project status clearly and honestly, especially when timelines are under pressure
• Support and advance delivery practices in an agentic engineering environment using tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• Mentor other delivery leads and project managers, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing software delivery, ideally in a consulting or client-facing environment
• Strong experience with agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks
• Proven risk, dependency, scope, budget, and schedule management skills
• Excellent client communication and expectation-setting abilities
• Strong organizational skills with consistent attention to plans, dependencies, and follow-ups
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and bring clarity to complex situations
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing delivery risks
• Comfort working with technical teams, concepts, and AI-enabled engineering workflows
• Familiarity with delivery tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar platforms
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment
• Agile or project management certification, such as CSM or PMP, is a plus
• Experience delivering AI or data-intensive projects is a plus
• Experience mentoring delivery leads or project managers is a plus
• Experience working across both product and engineering teams is a plus
