Job summary

Cobre is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Bogotá to drive the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to design, coding, testing and delivery. You will collaborate across product, security, and architecture teams to build scalable, observable, and secure payment platforms.

You should have 5+ years in Java Spring Boot with 2+ years in Python, plus hands-on experience in cloud-native microservices, AWS deployments, and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on coding in Java Spring Boot.
• 2+ years building cloud-native, event-driven microservices on AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC.
• Experience with highly concurrent processing platforms, preferably in payments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, test, and implement code to adapt to business requirements.
• Collaborate with product, security, architecture, and performance teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Define, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability strategies.
• Review code with peers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Coordinate deployments and ensure readiness and timely delivery.
• Lead design reviews to decide the best scalable solutions.
