BairesDev is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer to drive security controls and threat modeling across our engineering ecosystem, embedding scalable defenses and monitoring throughout the development lifecycle.

You will design and maintain automated security testing, perform threat modeling, oversee vulnerability management, and implement identity and encryption standards. This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and a global, diverse team.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python and building security automation workflows.
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC.
• Solid understanding of cloud and container security, IAM, and encryption.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Senior Security Automation Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Security Automation Engineer, you will drive the integration of security controls and threat modeling into our engineering ecosystem. You will act as a key driver for automating security workflows, ensuring that scalable defenses and robust monitoring are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain automated security testing and monitoring workflows to streamline threat detection and response.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to proactively identify and mitigate infrastructure risks.
• Oversee vulnerability management processes and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Implement and optimize robust platform security measures, including identity management and encryption standards.
• Develop automated systems to detect, triage, and respond to security incidents and compliance anomalies in real time.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Automation, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and building security automation workflows.
• Proven expertise in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC.
