Bluelightconsulting is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and implement high-performance services. You will build low-latency APIs on AWS, integrate with external services, and maintain secure multi-tenant environments.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong SQL skills, and collaboration with frontend teams. You will work on full-stack tasks when needed, participate in CI/CD workflows, and contribute to robust testing and security practices.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services with a focus on performance and reliability.
