Bluelightconsulting is hiring a senior backend developer to design and implement scalable API services in AWS, leveraging Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. You’ll work on low-latency endpoints, ensure data security (RLS) in multi-tenant environments, and integrate diverse SDKs.

Collaboration across teams and occasional frontend work are expected. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to overlap US business hours.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience with scalable RESTful APIs and IAM/ security concepts.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend services with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs in AWS environments.
• Integrate third-party services via SDKs and manage data models (including RLS).
• Collaborate across teams, overlap US business hours, and contribute to frontend when needed.
