Bluelightconsulting is seeking a senior backend-focused software engineer to help design and build high-quality applications for clients in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will work on scalable API services, integrate with AWS, and contribute across the full stack when needed.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong Node.js/TypeScript skills, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Remote-friendly with flexible hours and ongoing education opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and RLS, multi-tenant environments, and raw SQL.
• Proficient with React, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to overlap US business hours and deliver with ownership.

• Develop backend services and APIs with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to frontend work when needed.
