Daybook Group seeks an advanced bookkeeper with a teaching background to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our SMB clients. This role owns core bookkeeping functions and serves as a confident, camera-comfortable point of contact for clients.

You will manage reconciliations, payroll support, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and month-end close across a portfolio of clients, explaining financial concepts clearly to non-technical audiences on video calls.

Formación

• Advanced bookkeeping experience owning client books end-to-end.
• Experience teaching or explaining finance concepts to clients.
• Degree or credential in education with finance/accounting as secondary field.
• Comfort presenting financial data to non-technical audiences.
• Formal accounting education underpinning bookkeeping work.
• Comfortable on video calls with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Present financial results to clients on calls or video meetings.
• Manage daily bookkeeping for a portfolio of SMB clients.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Prepare and present financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Oversee month-end close for assigned clients.
• Maintain audit-ready records in QuickBooks Online and other systems.
• Flag discrepancies or gaps to management.
• Communicate with US-based team in English.
