Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior QA Engineer in Colombia to work remotely. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases across web and API applications, and you will build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to ensure fast, reliable releases.

Candidates should have 5+ years of QA or software testing experience, deep knowledge of test automation with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, hands-on API testing with Postman or REST Assured, strong SQL skills, and

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
Experience working in Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing best practices.
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases across web and API applications.
Build and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks.
Perform API testing, database validation, and end-to-end system testing.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and early defect detection.
