Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to design and execute comprehensive manual and automated testing across investor funding, payments, data flows, and system integrations. You will build AI-assisted testing solutions and automate with Python (pytest/Robot Framework) and Playwright.

The role requires 5+ years in QA, strong SQL, REST API testing, and CI/CD experience. Remote work from Colombia with US Eastern business hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, both manual and automated.
• Hands-on with Python automation frameworks (pytest/Robot Framework).
• Strong Playwright experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience testing REST APIs with Postman or code-based tests.
• Experience implementing automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust).
• Experience testing responsive web apps across browsers/devices.
• Familiar with AI-powered testing tools in workflows.
• 3+ years in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute manual and automated testing for investor funding, payments, data flows, and system integrations.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Python (pytest, Robot Framework) and Playwright.
• Validate REST APIs, file-based integrations, and data pipelines for accuracy and reliability.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation and defect investigation.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Run performance and load testing to validate scalability and throughput.
• Test web apps across browsers/devices; ensure responsiveness.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate test development and maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders throughout Agile lifecycles.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and report defect metrics.
