Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior QA Engineer for remote work from Colombia. The role requires hands-on testing across manual and automated domains with a focus on Python, Playwright, SQL, REST APIs, and AI-assisted testing.

You will design and execute tests, validate data pipelines, and integrate tests into CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Jenkins, while collaborating in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance covering both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks such as pytest and/or Robot Framework.
• Strong experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Advanced SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data validation techniques.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or code-based testing frameworks.
• Experience implementing and running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust.
• Experience testing responsive web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
• Practical experience using AI-powered tools in software testing workflows.
• 3+ years of experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work during US Eastern Time business hours.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Refinement, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Report, track, and validate defect resolution while providing quality metrics and testing insights to the team.
