AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in Manizales, Colombia to optimize databases and build scalable backend systems for high data volumes. You will lead initiatives to improve performance and support revenue-driving features, with strong emphasis on Python, OOP, and clean code.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into robust software solutions, using Streamlit for Snowflake, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt to deliver scalable data-driven products.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Python experience.
• Experience building tools with Streamlit for Snowflake.
• Strong SQL knowledge and Snowflake usage.
• Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of databases for performance and scalability.
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems to handle high data volumes and revenue-driving features.
