Job summary

Amadeus Bogotá is seeking a Network Manager to lead the Network Engineering team responsible for secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across cloud, data center, and hybrid environments.

You will drive modernization through automation, IaC, and observability while coordinating with architecture, security, cloud, SRE, and product teams to deliver resilient networking solutions and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise networking or cloud networking.
• 3+ years leading technical teams in global or matrix orgs.
• Strong routing, switching, WAN/LAN, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, security.
• IT service management: incident, problem, change, capacity, lifecycle.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across tech, product, security, business.
• Strong communication and prioritization.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience withAzure/AWS/GCP; hybrid connectivity.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible/AWX.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people: coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing Network Engineering team.
• Own network service reliability: ensure the availability, performance, security, and operational readiness of production and non-production network services.
• Drive modernization and automation: promote software-defined networking, Infrastructure-as-Code, self-service, observability, and automation.
• Partner across the organization: work with architecture, CISO, cloud, SRE, platform, product, and business stakeholders.
• Manage operations and governance: support incident, problem, change, capacity, lifecycle, compliance, and vendor activities.
