Job summary

Amadeus IT Group Colombia, S.A.S. seeks a Network Manager to lead a global Network Engineering team delivering secure, reliable connectivity across cloud, data center, and hybrid environments.

You will combine people leadership, operational ownership, and technical strategy to drive modernization, automation, and service excellence. You will coach, mentor, and grow the team while ensuring network services meet availability, performance, and security targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years in enterprise networking, infrastructure, cloud networking, or related domains.
• 3+ years leading technical teams in a global or matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WAN/LAN, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and security.
• Experience with ITIL-style incident, problem, change, capacity, lifecycle and risk management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across technical, product, security, and business areas.
• Excellent communication, prioritization and decision‑making skills; English proficiency.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; hybrid connectivity and cloud migration is a plus.
• Experience with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible/AWX) and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Network Engineering team across a global/matrix organization.
• Ensure production and non‑production network services are reliable, secure and scalable.
• Drive modernization and automation through software‑defined networking and IaC.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, cloud, SRE, product and business to deliver resilient networks.
• Oversee operations and governance including incident, problem, change, capacity, lifecycle and vendor activities.
