Capgemini Engineering in Colombia seeks an experienced LIMS professional to support and develop LabVantage and related systems across 40+ global sites. You will ensure incidents are resolved, integrations are implemented, and compliance is maintained in a highly regulated environment.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of LIMS experience, strong SQL/Java skills, API expertise, and collaboration with Quality, R&D, IT and external vendors.

Formación

• 7+ years hands-on experience in LIMS support and development, preferably with LabVantage LIMS, or equivalent platforms such as LabWare or STARLIMS, ideally in multi-site or global deployment environments.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL/Oracle/SQL Server, Java/JavaScript, web-based applications and APIs (REST/SOAP), and familiarity with LIMS BASIC, LabVantage configuration, and visual workflows.
• Solid understanding of laboratory processes in QC and R&D environments, including sample lifecycle management, testing workflows, and regulatory/validation requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams including Quality, R&D, IT, and external vendors, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI or Business Objects

Responsabilidades

• Providing L2/L3 application support for LabVantage LIMS across 40+ global sites, ensuring incidents, service requests, and problem tickets are resolved within SLA timelines through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Designing, developing, and implementing LIMS configurations, workflows, and customizations, supporting new feature development aligned with Quality and R&D business requirements
• Managing system integrations between LIMS and laboratory instruments, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), MES/Manufacturing systems, and data platforms, including API integrations and data migration support
• Ensuring system compliance with GxP, GMP, GLP, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO standards, maintaining audit trails, validation documentation, change control processes, and supporting IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities
• Identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities including workflow automation, process standardization, and performance optimization, while contributing to knowledge base articles and SOPs

Job Description

In this role you will play a key role in:

Your profile

We are looking for a passionate and experienced LIMS professional who thrives in complex, regulated, global environments. The ideal candidate brings:

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in LIMS support and development, preferably with LabVantage LIMS, or equivalent platforms such as LabWare or STARLIMS, ideally in multi‑site or global deployment environments
