AgileEngine, LLC in Cartagena, Colombia, seeks a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project.

You will lead deployment, ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence while collaborating with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to manage workloads on Kubernetes and implement GitOps with Argo CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years DevOps, SRE, Platform/Cloud Engineering experience.
• 4+ years deploying Kubernetes in production.
• Experience deploying and operating AWS-hosted apps.
• Leading technical implementation with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering experience.
• 4+ years supporting Kubernetes in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and operating AWS-hosted applications.
• Experience leading technical implementation efforts with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm.
• Strong experience with Argo CD and Service Mesh technologies.
• Strong experience with ingress controllers, container networking, storage and persistence, and cluster operations and upgrades.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, Secrets Manager, and Systems Manager Parameter Store.
