OKTO PAYMENTS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain its next-generation payment platform. The role focuses on distributed systems, Java-based microservices, and high-volume transaction processing, collaborating with product, security, and other engineering teams.

Responsibilities include API design, security implementation (OAuth2, JWT, SSO), and AWS cloud deployment to ensure scalable and reliable payment services.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 7 years of backend software development experience.
• Desirable experience leading teams and architecting payment systems.
• Proven working experience in FinTech/Payments industry.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain our next-generation payment platform for high-volume processing.
• Lead the design and architecture of complex distributed systems.
• Lead API design, security, and integration with payment gateways and financial institutions.
• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs with OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
• Work with AWS cloud services (IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.
