OKTOPAYMENTS in Colombia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our next-generation payment platform. You will work on distributed systems, Java-based microservices, and high-volume transaction processing, collaborating with product, security, and other engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in backend development, strong Java/Spring experience, and a proven track record leading technical initiatives within FinTech or payments environments.

Formación

• 7+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proven working experience leading teams and architecting payment systems.
• Proficient in Java 11+ and Spring Boot, with microservices experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain the next-generation payment platform.
• Lead the transition to a microservices-based architecture for payments.
• Design and secure RESTful APIs with OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
• Work with AWS services to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and drive best practices in the team.
