Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer with practical AI exposure to build scalable Java services and reliable cloud deployments. You will shape microservices, REST APIs, and multi-cloud deployments on Azure and AWS while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will lead architecture discussions, review code, mentor juniors, and drive durable fixes. Strong Java 8, Spring Boot, CI/CD, and SQL/NoSQL skills are required, with English proficiency at B2+.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Java Core and OOP.
• Production experience with Java 8 features.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot for backend services.
• Cloud experience on Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• SQL and NoSQL data modeling/querying.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Good unit testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute architectural input to shape roadmaps.
