Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Senior Java Developer with hands-on AI knowledge to build scalable Java systems and Spring Boot microservices. You will implement REST integrations and support CI/CD-driven releases across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

You will collaborate with business, product, and engineering partners, perform code reviews, and coach peers to improve delivery quality. Strong Java 8, OOP, and testing practices are required.

Qualifications

Hands-on Java experience in production systems.
Expertise with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Experience implementing REST integrations and CI/CD-driven releases.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills.
Solid unit testing practices and code quality.
AI-focused engineering knowledge or project exposure.

Responsibilities

Build scalable Java microservices and REST interfaces.
Advise on architecture and roadmaps with cross-functional partners.
Lead code reviews and ensure reliable, maintainable solutions.
Troubleshoot incidents, determine root causes and remediation.
Mentor junior developers and drive timely delivery with forecasts.
Document major design decisions and workflows for maintenance.
