Job summary

Reclutador is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise IT environments in a permanent role in Medellín. You will maintain MS 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), AD, Intune and Windows Server, while leading virtualization and networking operations in a global, fast-paced setting.

The role requires 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, strong English, and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance. Travel to the US is possible per business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration and support.
• Professional fluency in English with strong communication in technical discussions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Solid networking knowledge including switching, wireless, and firewall administration.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and service management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) with performance optimization and high availability.
• Support enterprise networking infrastructure including switching, wireless networks, and firewall policies.
• Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) and lifecycle of corporate devices.
• Execute vulnerability management and patching across infrastructure environments.
• Ensure backup operations, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with retention goals.
• Act as Level 2/3 escalation point for complex infra and network incidents.
• Support ITSM processes, including incident and change management and SLA compliance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and runbooks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimize our enterprise IT environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure services, while serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, networking, endpoint management, and infrastructure operations within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer enterprise virtualization platforms, including performance optimization, resource allocation, and high-availability configurations.
• Support and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure, including switching, wireless networks, and firewall policies.
• Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and oversee the lifecycle of corporate devices.
• Execute and support vulnerability management and patching activities across infrastructure environments.
• Ensure successful backup operations, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with retention and recovery objectives.
• Act as a Level 2/Level 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure and network incidents.
• Support ITSM processes, including incident management, change management, and SLA compliance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist with scheduled maintenance activities during evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
