Job summary

GCG in Colombia seeks a Food Safety & Quality Specialist to ensure technical adequacy of food safety and quality controls across stations, translating requirements into practical programs and validating corrective actions. The role requires strong HACCP knowledge and coordination with multiple teams to maintain supplier and product standards.

You will define and implement HACCP and prerequisite programs, supervise testing and validation, and lead risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food engineering or related field.
• Formal HACCP training and ability to translate requirements into controls.
• Experience with HACCP, prerequisite programs, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain food safety/quality requirements within corporate framework.
• Define HACCP, hygiene controls, allergen management, traceability, and verification.
• Review station food safety plans and validate evidence of control effectiveness.
• Lead inspections, investigations, and corrective actions across stations.
• Coach local teams and coordinate with Operations, Culinary, and QA.
