PRGX in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy generative AI models, with a focus on text generation and semantic entity extraction, in production.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior data scientists, stay current with AI research, and work with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production environments. This role requires a Master’s degree and 3–5 years of experience building scalable ML systems.

Formación

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years experience as Data Scientist or ML Engineer with production Generative AI deployments.
• Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning LLMs, prompt tuning, Graph RAGs, and knowledge graphs.
• Strong ML/deep learning and probabilistic modeling background.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
• Experience building large-scale data pipelines and processing systems.
• Experience with FastAPI, API development, docs, and versioning.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure; CI/CD (Jenkins); Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong Python programming and Git version control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; mentoring experience.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues and interns.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
