PRGX is the global leader in source-to-pay data analytics and software. We seek a Sr Data Scientist in Medellín, Colombia to design, develop, and deploy generative AI models with a focus on text generation and semantic entity extraction.

You will work with stakeholders to define project scopes and deliver data-driven solutions. You will mentor junior data scientists, stay current with Generative AI research, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production,

Formación

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as Data Scientist or ML Engineer with production Generative AI experience.
• Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Fine tuning LLMs, Prompt tuning, Graph RAGs, Knowledge graphs.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for various applications with focus on text generation and semantic entity extraction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, define project scopes, and establish data-driven solutions.
• Mentor junior data scientists/interns, providing guidance on best practices and industry standards.
• Stay up to date with Generative AI research and related fields.
• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to deploy models into production environments.
• Establish and maintain documentation for models, algorithms, and processes.
• Ensure projects meet quality, performance, and security standards.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
